ECRIS'20 Virtual Conference will be held using the Zoom video conference software. Zoom is free to sign-up.
The zoom details for the workshop will be sent to all registered participants 1-2 business days prior to the workshop start. The plenary sessions will be held as a webinar, with no password required, but access will only be permitted for paid registrants. If an attendee's profile name does not match that of a registered participant, they will be unable to access the webinar.
Zoom Profile Requirements
*Attendees must have the same name listed on their zoom profile as they used to register for the conference.
*Zoom profile pictures (if included in profile) should be business appropriate
During the conference, participants roles are defined as:
- Promote speakers to panelist level
- Share speaker presentation
- Grant Remote Assess when requested
- Background Tech Support
- Promote/Demote Chairs
- Keep time for speakers
- Field Q/A questions
- Call on and unmute people with raised hands for questions
- Request Remote Access from Host
- Raise hand to be unmuted by Chair (Orals)
- Type questions in Q/A for Chair to select (Short Presentations)
Plenary (Oral) Sessions
*The plenary sessions will use the Zoom Webinar feature. Oral sessions are planned to be live.
Short 'Poster' Presentations
Short presentations (8+2) will take place of a regular poster sessions
Poster Session Presentations
*Posters will be presented live with a format similar to the oral presentations, but for a reduced time of 8 minutes for presentations and 2 minutes for questions
*After the presentations, slides will be posted onto the conference website for conference participants to view
