Speaker Guidelines

ECRIS'20 Speaker guidelines

There are 30 minute oral presentations (25 minute presentation, 5 minute questions) and 10-minute short 'poster' presentations (8 minute presentation, 2 minute questions)

If you are giving an oral presentation, please allow 5 minutes for discussion within the allotted time. For short 'poster' presentations, you should allow 2 minutes for questions.

We will be holding a test session 1 week prior to the conference date on Monday, September 21 at 11:00 ET.

Speakers must upload their presentation to the ECRIS'20 SPMS server following the instruction below. The deadline for presentation upload is at 3:00 p.m. on the day before your talk. Accepted formats are Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe PDF.

Any special requirements concerning visual aids should be addressed to the local organizers at ecris20@frib.msu.edu well in advance of the conference.

Before the workshop starts

Please upload your electronic presentation to the ECRIS'20 SPMS server as early as possible but at the latest by 3:00 p.m. on the day before your presentation. Name the file with the program code and «_talk» (for example MO104_talk.ppt) and then upload in the same way as for papers through your ECRIS'20 profile. You can find the program code assigned to your presentation when logging into the ECRIS'20 SPMS server.

***Presentations will be run through your personal computers, but should be uploaded in the case of technical difficulty***

During the workshop

Before your session, please check that everything has been loaded correctly. Slides that have been successfully captured will be published via the workshop website on the day of the presentation. Please be advised that by giving your talk you automatically agree to its online publication via on the JACoW website.
