Dear colleague,

This is the abstract submission form for the COMEX8 conference to be held at Florida State University from December 15 to December 19, 2025. We will review abstract submissions for oral and poster contributions. Please indicate whether you are intending to have an oral or poster contribution.

We accept contributions on the following topics:

• Giant resonances in cold and hot nuclei
• Collective and new excitation modes in nuclei
• Spin and isospin modes
• Clustering and pairing effects in excitations
• Studies of the decay of highly excited states
• Collective excitation and the nuclear equation of state
• Applications in nuclear astrophysics
• Novel instrumentation and methods
