The workshop on Advancing the sensitivity of precision studies of radioactive atoms and molecules at FRIB will be held at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) on the campus of Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing, MI, USA from 17 to 19 of June, 2026.

This focused workshop proposes to invite researchers in In-Gas-Jet Laser Ionization Spectroscopy to FRIB, where efforts are underway to implement it as part of the upcoming Spectroscopy of Precision Exploration of Cold jeTs of Radioactive spEcies (SPECTRE) project. This workshop aims to build meaningful collaboration and coordinate development efforts to benefit laser spectroscopy activities on both continents.
