DESCRIPTION:FRIB-TA Summer School: Emergence of Collective Motion in Atomi
 c Nuclei will be held at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) on th
 e campus of Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing\, MI USA\, on 
 19 - 22 August\, 2025\n\n\n\nIn this summer school\, we will discuss our c
 urrent understanding of nuclear collective motion with emphasis on new dev
 elopments relevant to the FRIB scientific program.\n\nLectures will includ
 e the relevant theoretical frameworks applied to current examples and disc
 uss possible new and exotic phenomena that can be studied at FRIB\, such
  as the effects of weak binding and continuum coupling. There will also be
  a number of hands-on activities to familiarize participants with some of 
 the codes currently in use by the practitioners.\n\nThe program will cover
  the topics of:\n\n\n	Overview of the experimental evidence\n	Collective m
 odels\, the Nilsson\, Particle Rotor\, and Cranking models\n	Shell model a
 pproach\, Island of Inversion\n	Ab initio collectivity\n\n\nLectures:\nMit
