DESCRIPTION:FRIB-TA Summer School: Put the reaction into action: A Nuclear
  physics boot camp on reaction methods will be held at the Facility for Ra
 re Isotope Beams (FRIB) on the campus of Michigan State University (MSU) i
 n East Lansing\, MI USA\, on 12 - 14 August\, 2024\n\n\n\nIn this summer s
 chool\, we will discuss a variety of theoretical approaches for computing 
 nuclear reaction observables. We plan to introduce some of the most utiliz
 ed reaction methods\, namely the eikonal approximation\, DWBA\, ADWA\, CDC
 C and Faddeev methods. This 3-day course will be useful for both theorist
 s and experimentalists interested in learning the fundamentals of reaction
  methods. This will also be a wonderful opportunity for the participants t
 o start collaborations with each other or the instructors on projects beyo
 nd the duration of summer school. Please join us in East Lansing this sum
 mer to explore a wide range of theoretical approaches to describe nuclear
  reactions. \n\nFor selected participants we hope to provide partial su
 pport which may include lodging and meals. After registration closes\, yo
