General Information

The Workshop on Techniques and Detectors for Heavy-ion Charge-State Identification in High-acceptance Spectrometers will begin on Wednesday, 16 December 2020 at 6:00am Eastern Time and it will conclude on Thursday, 17 December 2020 at 10:00am. The workshop will take place using Zoom.

The purpose of this workshop is to discuss recent developments and applications of new detectors technologies for heavy-ion particle identification, with a particular accent to charge-state identification applied to high-acceptance spectrometer.

By bringing together specialists from the fields of Nuclear and Particle physics, and applied research, we hope to identify unique opportunities for nuclear physics research applied to experiment with rare isotope beams.

Agenda, please note, due to the virtual nature of this workshop, we will do our best to accommodate speakers from different time zones.
